Windows 98 Mouse Problems?

The mouse wont work on an old computer I have, it stopped working and then was OK for a while now it has stopped working again, anyone got any ideas why it keeps freezing, thanks :)

    You will need to install the drivers again for it.
    Did you get a disk with the mouse, if not go to the website of the manufacturer of the mouse and download the driver for it from there.
    When you have found the driver, i would install the old program in add/remove programs.

    probably a faulty mouse or connection from mouse to pc.

    Go to Start, then Control Panel, then Mouse. As someone else said, you may need to reinstall the drivers, but it may be solved in the Mouse section of the Control Panel.
    Or you could buy a big cat to kill the mouse! =;o)

    My guess is it is time to buy a new mouse. Sometimes mice die after years of use.
